Circuit history:

The first purpose-built circuit in the Phillipines, Batangas Racing Circuit (or BRC as it is commonly referred to) opened in 1996. With backing from Shell, Toyota, Philip Morris, Yamaha and Kilton Motor Corporation, as well as the Provincial Government of Batangas, it had established itself as the premier facility in the country.

Facilities are good, with permanent pitlane garages and a fully-equipped media centre.

Races for superbikes, touring cars, Toyota Corolla Cup and formula cars have been organised and the current calendar extends over 36 weekends.

The circuit was recently lengthened and upgraded, receiving FIA Grade 4 homologation, allowing the annual visit of the Asian F3 Series.
