Circuit history:
Former street race around the streets of Wellington, which was used for international touring car races from 1985 to 1996. John Bowe was the final winner of the Wellington 500km in his Ford Falcon when the big Aussie V8 Supercars paid a visit.
Construction of a new museum and other buildings mean that any revival would have to be on a modified course.
