Circuit history:
A proposed street circuit in Jean Alesi's home town was due to host the DTM series in 2005. However, difficulties with getting necessary permission from the authorities forced the cancellation of the event, much the chagrain of Alesi. It remains to be seen if the proposals will ever be resurrected.
