Circuit history:

Sturup was Sweden's smallest racetrack for many years until it was bought in 2001 by the Danish Brask organisation. Since then it has been expanded considerably and is extensivly used for testing, driver development and coroporate functions.

The circuit near Malmö opened in 1989 and is extremely well-placed, being no more than an hour away from all of Sweden's six major cities. Thanks to the Øresund Bridge it is also just 45 minutes drive from Copenhagen in Denmark - hence the attraction for Team Brask. Its major race is a round of the burgeoning Danish Touring Car series, with star driver Jan Magnussen and Ronnie Bremer also serving as guest driver instructors at the circuit.
