Canada's first purpose-built motor racing circuit, Westwood became a hugely popular - and challenging - addition to the Canadian motor racing scene when it opened in 1959.
Sweeping through the countryside near Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, Westwood was forced to close in 1990 by creeping urban sprawl. Housing now covers the spot where the track once lay.
