Circuit history:
Set in the Meadowlands Sports Arena in East Rutherford, New Jersey, which includes a one-mile horse track, Giants Football Stadium, and a hockey/basketball arena.
This was Indycar racing's attempt to find a home in downtown New York and the race was run in the parking lot of Giants Stadium.
After several years as a road course, the circuit was revamped as a "modified oval", but the crowds still stayed away and Meadowlands was quietly dropped from the calendar.
