Circuit history:

Pacific Raceways - also known as Seattle International Raceway - opened in 1959 and witnessed the likes of Pete Revson, Mark Donohue and Parnelli Jones racing side by side in the early Trans-Am cars.

Incorporating a quarter-mile dragstrip, the circuit winds through the scenic forests of Kent, just outside Seattle. It includes just about everything during its 2.25 miles, from fast corners, vertical elevation and plunging downhill corners to hairpins, esses and banked turns, all with good spectator viewing.
