A new state-of-the-art road course has been built in Italy. The Adria International Raceway, between Padua and Venice, boasts a paddock which is completely under cover, the first of its kind anywhere in the world.

The circuit is currently 1.68 miles long but the design plans allow for it to be lengthened if they can land a major international race.

In its current form, however, it is to be used for national racing, including Italian F3 and the Italian Touring Car Championship. The track expects to receive FIA approval soon.
