Road America updates Carousel

Road America's famous Carousel corner has been revised, with a new turn inserted to slow motorcycles into the ultra-fast Kink at Turn 11.

Circuit bosses say the new, optional configuration will incorporate a chicane, tentatively called The Bend (Turn 10A), at the end of the Carousel, providing a new entry angle to Turn 11.

The Bend is expected to be available for use during the 2003 race season. The original course will not be altered and will continue to be used for car events.
