Country Club plans new track
Anew track is being proposed just south of Kansas City in Kansas to form a high performance test course and motorsport club.
The Middle Creek Country Club course will be run along similar lines to a golf club, with members having the right to use the facilities in exchange for an annual fee. The majority of members are expected to be motorsport enthusiasts and car collectors.
An application for a Conditional Use Permit has been submitted to the local authority.
The total track will be around 3.8miles in length, with the ability to form separate East (1.6miles) and West (2.2 miles) courses. Both sub-tracks will be able to operate simultaneously.
The project is backed by a consortium of businessmen and SCCA members from the Kansas City area.
